At the beginning of October, 2014 in Dar es Salaam (the United republic of Tanzania) the bitumen emulsion plant was officially started up.
The ceremonial ribbon was cut by the representative of the Labour department – Hassan Matimbe (is in the center of the photo). And we are glad to inform that this plant was produced by GlobeCore.
This plant is able to produce 10000 liters of bitumen emulsion per hour. The executive director of the company-owner of bitumen production plant, Mr Gratian Nshekanabo mentioned: ‘cold technologies have changed the approaches to the road construction and maintenance drastically. We are proud that this plant was designed and constructed according to the world requirements and bitumen material, produced on this plant, meets the international and regional standards. We do hope that the commissioning of bitumen-emulsion plant will benefit other branches of industry.
